When the economy plummets, women and girl children get the least medical
attention. This we saw during COVID-19 lockdown. Our volunteers are trained in
handling basic medicines and also in replacing them with traditional medicinal
practices.

Health issues related to reproduction – menstruation, childbearing, delivery and
post-delivery – are provided by these volunteers to the village women in hundreds of
villages. Over 16,000 women and adolescent girls have benfitted in the past decade.
Special attention was provided to senior citizens to have access to medical relief by
the government.
